Manufacturers

Manufacturers are the brands or makers of devices, linked to a specific category. Examples: Apple (under Smartphone), Dell (under Laptop), Sony (under Gaming Console).

Prerequisites

• At least one Category must exist

Adding a Manufacturer

1. Navigate to Settings → Manufacturers
2. Click New Manufacturer
3. Enter:
   • Name — e.g. "Apple", "Samsung", "Dell"
   • Category — select from existing categories
   • Logo (optional)
4. Click Save

Editing / Deleting

Same as Categories — use the Edit/Delete action buttons.

:::tip The Manufacturer step of the New Job wizard has an Add Manufacturer tile, so a brand you have not stocked before can be added mid-job. :::
