Adding a New Physical Location

The Physical Location feature in RepairSuite helps you efficiently manage storage spaces within your repair shop, such as rooms, racks, and shelves. This ensures better organization of your inventory, making it easier to track and locate items.

Accessing Physical Location

To manage your physical storage locations:

1. From the left sidebar, go to Settings.
2. Click on “Physical Location” to open the storage management section.

Here, you’ll see a list of existing locations within your shop.

Adding a New Physical Location

Step 1: Click “Add P. Location”

• At the top-right corner, click “Add P. Location” to create a new storage location.

Step 2: Fill in Location Details

You will be asked to enter:

• Name (Required) – Example: Mobile Phone Storage
• Code(Required) – Unique identifier for the location.
  • Example format: R01RAL01
  • R → Room number
  • A, B, C… → Rack identification
  • L → Level within the rack
  • You can create your own coding system based on your shop’s structure.
• Description (Optional) – Short details about this location.

Step 3: Save the Location

• Click “Add” to save the new physical location.
• If you don’t want to proceed, click “Cancel”.
